Thanksgiving Was Brighter for a Large Number of Families
Thank you to the five neighborhood families who so graciously AND GENEROUSLY donated to the Evergreen Middle School Communities in Schools Thanksgiving Meal Box drive. In running a total on how much in cash and food that you donated, it was approximately $700. Cliff and I put together two full meal boxes including four frozen turkeys and a huge box of dry goods and delivered them to the middle school. There is some cash left over that we will use to “adopt” a family for Christmas giving through this program.
