Thank you to ALL of those who turned out on July 30, despite the heat, to join in the clean-up event.
Gaby and Dennis Hampton, please know that your efforts in putting the July 30 event together are truly appreciated. The island at this entrance to Kentwood Cambridge on S 264th is looking so much better.
Thank you also for providing hot dogs, chips and thanks to Cliff and Holly Isaman for supplying ice water and ice cream bars for the hungry workers.
If you have questions about this project or wish to know what you can do to help out contact Gabriele at mamagaby58@gmail.com. These great neighbors live right there at the end of 264th and Hampton Way – the home with the US and Army flag flying 24/7.
Thank you also to Ande, Yvonne, Jeannine, Chris, Devon, Becky, Bruce and others who brought their tools and got to work. It was very nice also to see so many of our neighbors drive by to say thank you and share positive compliments. To those who shared cash donations to cover some of the costs of the project – VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
